My Values
MY GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Self Responsibility
I believe that anyone can change their state and their situation. I’ve seen it many times. However, this does require self-responsibility of taking action to sculpt that change in ourselves.
Joy
Joy is a cornerstone of life. I live joy through my family, through my experiences and through the practices and techniques I teach to my clients. Joy is my daily goal.
Health
Being heathly in mind and body is my foundation to the joy I live. I love honouring my body and nurturing my mind. Living a healthy life is a beauitful expression of this gift of life we get to live.
A word or two
About Me
and how I can support you
Since childhood I have found balance and joy in creative activities such as dance, gymnastics, singing and connection with loved ones.
My interest in psychology started at an early age also when people’s ability to heal fascinated me. The fascination also extended to how our brain works, why do we sometimes get stuck in patterns that are not good for us? Through some of my own personal experiences, I also experienced that you can live in challenging conditions and situations and yet still find something you value daily, something to be grateful for and something to aspire towards.
There was a period of my life when everything seemed to be going against me. I have always had a love of exercise and motion, this is when my body feels at it’s best. But in this challenging time I had been diagnosed with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) due to life-threatening experiences. It was through this period about 20 years ago that I discovered yoga for the first time and its ability to heal. I also found connection with myself again.
It was through this part of my journey that I learned that whatever life offers me, I always have myself and that I need to give my body and soul what it needs. I am the only one in the world who can do this and I deserve to heal and support myself, just as each and every one of us deserves that equally.
I have taught myself, on the mental level, as well as the physical and spiritual levels, to be deeply grateful and full of care toward myself and my life. I am grateful every day that I get to walk, get to breathe, get to experience another day to make my life the most beautiful it can be.
What I find so irresistible about yoga and meditation and mindfulness practice is that through them, I let go of all the stress and get in touch with my inner voice. They have been used for thousands of years as a healing force. Now they are recognized worldwide as a working methods for treating the most challenging of issues, combined with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy practice.
My life experiences have taught me much and have offered many lessons. They have helped shape me and for this I am deeply grateful. This path has lead me to help and support others with my whole heart, through my skills and knowledge of how the mind works in influencing our lives dramatically, as well as my passion and commitment to practices such as yoga and meditation for many years.
The deep roots of these therapeutic gifts I offer, help myself and others to feel physically, emotionally and mentally stronger, more balanced and positive. I’d even say that they can re-new a healthy lust for life as they certainly have for me. They have help me in all areas of my life and I have witnessed them countless times in their power to assist individuals with strong challenges and as well play a pivotal role in the re-union of relationships and the mending of the poor connection we can sometimes have with ourselves. They are indeed powerful tools and I am forever grateful that I teach them to others.
“The only impossible journey, is the one you never begin.”

A Life Lived
Is a Life With Meaning
I love to dance. I love to workout, do my yoga and feel alive, feel the sunlight on my skin. I love to eat fresh food, drink and laugh. I love the quiet moments, moments to contemplate and cherish everything.
Life is this wonderful miracle that we get to experience. Sometimes challenges come up that we can learn from and help shape us into even more beautiful, loving beings.
Everything can be a gift, everything can guide us to be better to ourselves and others. To lead our lives with our heart open to the world.
“Some beautiful paths can’t be discovered, without getting a little lost first.
The gift is in trusting that you’ll find your way. Then you can embrace the experience of the journey with wonder.”
“Took the courage to go to couples therapy with Mimmi. My boyfriend was not so happy at first but that changed. He experienced things from his childhood that he did not know influenced him in our relationship. Thank you <3 We have had a loving relationship ever since.”
